A vast treasure of previously neglected vineyards has been revived principally with the help of yours and my money via the EU in northern Spain. This was an old co-operative cellars that is now in private hands and much work has been done on cleaning up the vineyards and completely rebuilding the cellars. Modern wine making techniques are now applied to the fruit of ancient vines with more than satisfactory results.
