Keeping Beer Ice Cold – Beverage Air DD50

Published by at 11:04 pm under Uncategorized

If you’re looking to keep beer at its best, and serve it at an ice-cold temperature, then you might want a kegerator. In short, a kegerator is simply a refrigerator that’s been specially made for kegs of beer.

Typically, most commercial bars will want to have more than one choice of beer for their customers. So it makes perfect sense to use a kegerator that has room for at least two kegs of beer. For example, there’s the Beverage Air dd50. This particular model holds 2 half-sized kegs, and includes a draft beer tower with a seperate tap for each keg.

Naturally, if a kegerator is going to be used commercially, it needs to be strong enough to withstand rough work and treatment. Thankfully, the beverage air dd50 is made to last. As a way to strengthen the exterior, the stainless steel walls have been covered in hard-wearing vinyl. Furthermore, you’ll find the top work area of this kegerator is solid stainless steel. Inside, you’ll find the walls of the cooling area are made of galvanized steel. So it’s impressively tough there too.

Again, temperature plays such a critical role in the quality, taste and flavor of the beer you’re serving. And for this reason, the beverage air dd50 combines some very unique features to keep the beer at exactly the temperature you want it.

By way of example, forced air cooling refrigeration has been employed to keep each keg at the desired temperature. Doing so safeguards the inner core temperature of the beer inside the kegs.

And there’s more too.

Additional steps are in place to maintain the beer at a cold temperature once it’s left a keg as well. The dd50 also comes equipped with a customized insulated beer tower for serving the beers. This tower receives an ongoing flow of cold air from the main cooling unit. And as this operates, any beer being help in the tap area is refrigerated too.

All in all, the Beverage Air dd50 is perfectly suited to commercial settings and homes that plan on serving more than one keg at a time. Plus it doesn’t produce any CFC emissions either, so it’s friendly to the environment as well.
