Sauvignon Blanc or Fume Blanc – This is mostly grown around the areas of Loire and Bordeaux regions in France and also in California, New Zealand and even in some parts in South Africa. It is very well-known for its light and crisp, acidic taste. It normally has an herbal character, smelling like bell pepper or a newly mown grass. It is best served with a mixture of Semillion from France.
